More capacity for larger sections
One of the key benefits of the new saw is its larger cutting envelope.
This will allow us to process aluminium sections beyond the capacity of our current saws, extending the range of profiles we can cut in-house and giving customers greater flexibility when specifying larger extrusions.
The cutting chart below illustrates the available cutting envelope across different profile widths and heights, with a maximum clamping height of 210 mm.

As the available cutting height varies with the width and shape of the extrusion, we’re happy to review individual section drawings and confirm suitability before production.
Built for high-volume cutting
The JIH Auto-24-D is particularly well suited to high-volume bundle cutting at shorter lengths.
Processing multiple extrusions together provides an efficient solution for projects requiring larger quantities of cut components, helping us increase throughput while maintaining a high level of repeatability.
For customers with ongoing or higher-volume requirements, the additional capacity will also help us reduce lead times and respond more flexibly to production schedules.
Pattern Cutting for Better Material Yield
For projects that require several different cut lengths from a single extrusion bar, we can help optimise the cutting pattern to make the most economical use of the material.
Rather than treating each cut length separately, we can review the full requirement and plan the cutting sequence across the available bar length. This helps us maximise yield, reduce offcut and minimise unnecessary material waste.
For customers ordering multiple component sizes from the same extrusion profile, pattern cutting can help:
- improve overall material utilisation
- reduce scrap and offcut
- maximise the number of usable components from each bar
- support more economical production planning
- improve yield across larger-volume orders
If you provide us with the profile, stock bar length, required cut lengths and quantities, we can review the requirement and plan an efficient cutting pattern around it.
High repeatability
Consistency is particularly important when producing cut components in volume.
The new saw will provide high repeatability across production runs, helping us maintain consistent cut lengths from component to component while efficiently processing larger quantities.
Reduced lead times & greater flexibility
Adding further in-house cutting capacity gives us more flexibility when planning customer orders.
It reduces pressure on our existing cutting equipment, increases overall throughput and gives us another way to help shorten lead times where cutting forms part of a wider extrusion, machining or finishing requirement.
Already have your extrusions? We can cut those too
Our cutting service isn’t limited to aluminium extrusions supplied by BWC Profiles.
Customers can also free-issue their own extrusions or material to us for cutting.
If you already have material in stock, have an established extrusion supplier, or simply need additional cutting capacity to relieve pressure on your own production, we can process your material as a standalone cutting service.
This can be particularly useful for:
- larger sections that exceed your existing cutting capacity
- high-volume requirements
- batches of shorter cut lengths
- additional capacity during busy production periods
- businesses looking to reduce internal bottlenecks or lead times
Send us your extrusion drawing, required cut lengths and anticipated quantities, and our team can review the requirement with you.
Investing for tomorrow
This investment is about more than adding another machine.
It forms part of our ongoing approach to developing the capabilities we can offer customers and taking responsibility for more stages of the extrusion supply chain.
Whether you need us to manage the complete process — from extrusion through to cutting, machining and finishing — or simply need us to cut material you already own, we can tailor our involvement around your requirements.
Capacity to keep you moving.
Need more extrusion cutting capacity?
Talk to us about your next requirement.
Whether you need a complete aluminium extrusion supply solution or want to free-issue your own profiles for cutting, send us your section drawing, cut lengths and volumes.
We’ll review the profile against our new cutting envelope, look at pattern-cutting options where relevant, and discuss the most efficient way to process it.
