THE CAUSE

Keech offer palliative care to both adults and children, as well as extended support to their friends and families.

"Our excellent specialist care supports adults and children to live pain and symptom free, to spend untroubled time with their family and friends, to understand what’s happening to them, to stay out of hospital and to make the most of the time they have."

Their support has been invaluable to Hannah and Rhys Ford, friends of the cycling team. Their daughter Ophelia was born with an extremely rare neurological condition known as Canavan Disease.

Canavan affects the the brains ability to communicate with the rest of the body, thus inhibiting motor control and the development of muscle, amongst many other impediments.
